Anita may have got these as this name. I'm sure these were portrayed
acurately from her end. It is easy to jump to conclusions in Kokata or
Lakota sounding like Lokoja but someone just might have collected from a new
location & not published the collection.
On the other hand these may be bogus or corrupted spellings which need to be
properly researched. I would be pleased to put such names on my site if they
were properly researched either as valid or corrupted spellings.
I would appreciate a photo of the form being circulated under these names.
In my opinion all codes or newly collected fish should be lodged with either
Roger Langton or myself for the benefit of those keeping them down the
years. Roger puts all killie codes in his printed volumes whereas I put only
West African collections in my site. Both forms of data are readily
available to anyone buying or downloading the data.
Collectors in my opinion should make available their codes with location &
water analysis before distribution.
