As regards the care of *Nothobranchius luekei* et al I found bbs
totally unsuitable for long term health and growth. Only cyclops
seemed to keep them fit, healthy and growing. Likewise for my
*Aphyosemion*. My 2 male *Diapteron seegersi* survived the 28°C summer
in South Africa quite well on a diet of frozen cyclops and *Caradina*
shimp naupli (they pretty much desemated my population of these). They
ended the summer fatter and bigger than when I first got them. Then
one male jumped and the other was popped into ethanol and sent to
Rainer Sonnenberg for DNA analysis... still don't know if they are
*abacinum* or not... The photo of the male is on the SAKS or Killies
form Gabon webpage that can be found linked off my page listed below.
