Awesome! They have a ton of some milfoil type plant that was labeled as "feather" (not parrot's feather). It looks like M. Siberium or whatever the one native to VT is called. I'm not very good at plant identification. It should provide plenty of cover for eggs and fry however.

After about 15 hours in the tank the new fish are eating spirulina flakes which is encouraging. I think 3/4 survived but I'm not sure yet. They have too much cover to get a good count :)

I never really tried breeding them, but if you give them good food and lots of plants, I don't think it would be too hard.
