Adam,

A friend and I have used a Garmin GPS locator while out collecting. I think that a GPS locator is invaluable in the field, especially in places with no signs. Within a few meters you know if you are going the correct way or not. Saves you a lot of time. Also good for locating your collecting sites so you can return to them in the future.
