Re: [Killietalk]NEW MEMBERS

I will update the online PDF of members today. I should also point out that very soon now we will be unveiling a completely new concept for Member Services on the AKA web site. It will include a searchable roster. In fact, you will be able to search for any registered user of the site, including, or course, AKA members. This is a project that I've been working on with Dennis Heltzel, who has provided the technical know-how to allow us to do it. The new site has some very exciting new features and it should be ready to go live within 2 weeks. Stay tuned!

Do we still have a mechanism for contacting new members in place? It's academic for me as not one of the 90 new members is in eastern Canada, the area where I've been contacting new AKAers from. But still, if the new members system is still operating, who would we contact for e-mail addresses for newcomers? Would it be Steve Sump?

I almost hate to ask because with this many new members, as it's going to be a job for someone...

BNL! Thanks to Marshall and TFH who I think deserve credit for that.
