[Killietalk] Cultivating Daphnia
Hi Bob!
It depends upon the size of your container and your culture. My outside
bucket holds about 5 gallons and the inside one probably is about 2-3
gallons. I use three to five drops in each daily. A little seems to go a
long way.
The inside container occasionally receives some green water. The outside
one has green hair algae growing on the sides, but does not receive
anything other than the Micro-Vert and topping off. Both containers have a
snail population.

Sounds like this might be a great thing for my daphnia cultures. How much do
you feed? Is this in lieu of green water or as a stimulant for green water?
I'm in an apartment, space and loved ones are restricting how much room I
can give my cultures.
Thanks,
