I just threw the ones that I got at the May EXK meeting into a 20 Gal tub in 
my back yard with a few leaves and water conditioner and filled with a hose.  
I have a nice culture going now.  I got a few mosquito larvae at first, which 
I fed to the fish.  Since then I have left the screen off and have picked up a 
few small blood worms, but no mosquitos.  Occasionally, I will throw in some 
green water from a tank of apistos that I have.  This tank seems to generate a 
lot of green water even though it gets very little light and gets weekly 90% 
water changes.
