RE: [Killietalk] shipping fish redux --an anecdote (LONG!)
Hi Doug
I ship fish with FedEx world wide on almost a daily basis. The problem is
getting your account established as a fish shipper. It involves calling
their live animal desk, getting their requirements and having your local
account manager inspect you packaging methods. It is a real pain but once
it's done your account will stay active if you ship fish at least once in a
6 month period.
Don't stop at "we don't ship fish" because that's the answer you'll get from
just about everyone at FedEx. Search their webpage for live animals or live
fish and that should get you started.

I tried both FedEx and UPS before. I would NEVER trust UPS with a package,
even if it has nothing in it. They screwed me more times than I can count. I
trust FedEx the most. FedEx does not ship fish; they won't accept it, last I
heard. If someone used FedEx before to ship fish, how would you go about
shipping, breather bags again?
