Re: [Killietalk] ****SYNTHETIC WHITE WORMS FOR Synthetic cultures****

RJ,
I wrote you an e-mail but it returned to me. Yes, I would be interested in
obtaining a start of your grindle worms. I could trade you some striatum,
Libreville eggs and a start of my confused flour beetles if you are
interested in this exchange. And if not, how much are you asking for a
start in dollars.
Sincerely,
Bro. Paul

Subject: [Killietalk] ****SYNTHETIC WHITE WORMS FOR Synthetic cultures****

Hi Folks:

I have given some thought to the issues people are having. And I have
decided that different strains of worm may produce different results. As I
have a super strain of worm developed over 5 years, that I know works a
treat. I will be willing to start distributing them to a reasonable number
of people interested in culturing them. They pretty much look like grindel
worms, but were much more productive than the worms I had that were labeled
grindel worms when I got them. As my daphnia pond is producing well this
time of year I should have plenty of worms to go around.

By the way, these worms are very productive in soil too and if you are good
at soil colures already, it might not be a bad idea to set one up in case
your synthetic one crashes.

First and easiest for me, I can bring some into the next MAKA auction if
anyone is interested.

Next, as I have exchanged kindnesses with a few people on this list, they
can just send me a small box and return postage(depending on who was on the
receiving end of the last kindness) and I'll pack them some worms in dirt
(for shipping) and mail them their box back. This includes people I have
traded boxes of fish with, owe favors to, plan to owe favors to, etc.

Next I will include a free bag of worms with any club trade if the other
club want them, Yet another reason to do a box trade with MAKA!

For anyone else, e-mail me off-list, we can trade something so the box does
not have to travel empty.

For those who don't want to trade, I suppose we can work something out.

For the time being, and until someone identifies them otherwise, I will ask
that who ever gets them keep the name "synthetic white worm" or "synthetic
worm" as they look very much like the common grindle worm. This will aid me
in assisting people with them and keep the population seperate from worms
that may not work as well. I suspect that there are actually more than one
strain of worm posing as grindel or white worms making the rounds and this
may be causing the differing results that people have had with their
colures.

Peace,

~RJ~
