It *did* generate some fine commentary. :-)
They are great and I do believe they
try to sincerely do what's best for the AKA.
They probably always have done that, but we, the members, have not
always appreciated what is going on. The improved communications and
open running of the association have gone a huge way toward bringing us
all into the operation and letting all of us get more out of it.
It was simply sending out my view on the future of
things... Since the initial mail went out, a quite
few good points were made.
Yep. And nowhere in them were any of the gripes we used to hear all too
often. Comments (including particularly your own) were to the point and
were made as positive suggestions and not as personal attacks. That's a
nice new way to have things happen and was partially why I used it as an
excuse to send some thanks to all those hard-working folks doing the
real work. [I changed your subject line, a bit facetiously, to be sure
to separate my comments from that original thread on "forum vs list."]
