[Killietalk] Off topic: Tree frogs
I apologize in advance, but I know many fish keepers also like
reptiles/amphibians. Since I have moved out here 5 years ago, I have seen 3 different tree
frogs - two light mint green in color, about 1 1/2 to 2 inches long in my barn,
and one last night stuck on my front door glass light gold-tan in color,
about one inch long. I always think about bringing them in and trying to keep
them, but if they died I would be sick. I remember (vaguely) that tree frogs are
rare. Can anyone point me to some tree frog sites? Are these likely different
species? Are they really rare/endangered? Any info would be appreciated. (We do
have woods/swamp/creeks on the property - most likely habitat?) TIA Carolyn
