Re: [Killietalk] Rabbit Dookie?

I haven't heard this account yet, but it already
concerns me. Rabbits are very susceptible to
fly-strike, where adult flies will lay their eggs in
an small cut or wound on the rabbit, which then
becomes host the growing maggots. It's truly horrible
to see, and not a lot of fun to treat.

My rabbits live indoors as pets. They have a cage
(more of a condo, really,) they use litterboxes, have
runtime both indoors and outdoors on our screened
lanai. I can't imagine it would be much work to scoop
the pooties from the litterbox for the daphnia. Less
dangerous all around.
