[Killietalk] Re: Conditioning j. floridae
Warmer. That's easy, I've got heaters for even small tanks.
And apart, but easy to catch for "reunions"--the logistics of this are
not simple in my handful of crowded planted tanks.
Ok....would a tank divider (porous) provide enough distance to
"inspire" them when it was removed for a little while daily?
Or I could let them back into the big tanks and wait until summer, when
they could hang out in shoeboxes or fish bowls for a few days,
facilitating daily trips to the breeding tank. It will be 80s in my
apartment soon enough that they'd be warm enough in unheated containers.
Just thinking out loud. I like these guys and would like to raise a
few more to be "working" algae eaters in all my tanks.
