I used to raise lots of killie fry, but too often many grew up to be either
all males or all females, or too often I would get a majority of one sex
over another.  I forget the date and year of the AKA magazine that told me
if you put two fry in a container for one month, they would come out a pair
- male and female.  So, that's what I am doing now.  So I wanted to use
moina daphnia adults in the tank with the fry and the cycle would begin.  I
thought that I would only have to feed the moina and they would produce
enough food for my two fry.
