Well slap me silly and kick my mule (just joking about the mule Jackie),
that's what we used when assembling signs with plex. Sure you used
Denatured? Before using,, it would be better to try it on scrap plex 1st.
Maybe the formula has changed in 20 yrs. We never had that problem but since
you did, I would suggest that anyone attempting a weld-on bond should pay
heed to Chris's post as I do not want to be the one to blame if the tank
cracks. OK at least I got the place to find the weld-on right,,,,didn't I?
Sorry about the lack of knowledge with whatever they are using now. Innocent
mistake
If I caused a problem try to add some weld-on to the cracks, they should
fill and become invisable (I hope)
