[Killietalk] Air Cargo - beware!
Just FYI I found out the hard way this morning that, in order to ship via
air cargo, you need to be a 'known shipper' which apparently requires a
permit. Despite my calling the airline in advance and asking every possible
question I could come up with, they didn't tell me this part.
Most airlines have a 'package express' service where they *will* take fish,
as pets, for shipping. It costs about twice what air cargo does - for me
from SEA to EWR it's $70 where air cargo was $35. And you may need a
reservation.
Matt, peeved in Redmond. Fie on Alaska Airlines
