RE: [Killietalk] Java Moss 'culturing'
Hi Doug,
For faster growth pull the clumps apart. This way all of the plant gets
light and water circulation.
Peace,

I stick a clump in a tank with filteration and a 2 pairs of gularis that has
a JBJ Power Compact light (a gift). I have about 12 clumps in 3 months from
that one clump I put in. I attached the clump to driftwood too and added a
supplement that my friend made. Does wonders! Doug -------Original

Moss 'culturing' In adding additional tank space I've outrun my existing
java moss. In other words I'm adding tanks faster than I can grow enough to
fill the tanks with. In the short term I'm going to substitute yarn mops. Is
anyone 'culturing' Java Moss, would a sunny windowsill in dirty tank water
or some sort of fertilizer be a good way to make more? Does anyone do this
regularly? Tucker #08868 (I think, my label isn't handy...) To join
