RE: [Killietalk] Comments on strange use of a Fluval???
Good luck John and let us know how it works out. I'm in the process of
building a flow through and trying to make things as easy as I can. I
have a fluval running on my marine quarantine tank which has no media or
prefilter what so ever. There are hundreds of tunicates living in the
media baskets which provide a sort of living filter. Of course I have
remove the media baskets if I medicate the tank otherwise the tunicate
die-off will certainly cause an ammonia spike.
Cheers,
Chris

Point well taken.
