[Killietalk] Comments on strange use of a Fluval???

I am looking for some comments ...

I am constructing a fry flow system. Got all the stuff from Jhemco and found
John to be a wealth of knowledge and help.

The back flow from the system and the outflow from the fry boxes go over a wet
dry Lava Rock filter.

I am concerned about small particles plugging the emitters to the shoe boxes.

I have an old Fluval 104.

Is there anyway to pump the water through the Fluval for a small amount of
further filtration before it goes back to the emitters???

The concerns would be that the Fluval is set to use its own siphon and
impeller. I would want to bypass those and just let the pump I am using to
pump the water to the shoeboxs flow the water through the canister.

Anybody ever done this??

All comments welcome
john
