RE: [Killietalk] Repairing a glass tank

Hi Burt,

If you are going to repair the tank, do it right. Replace the bottom pane.
It is the easiest one to replace, but it is still quite a project.

Peace,

Subject: [Killietalk] Repairing a glass tank

Hi all- I have a 30-gal tank with a crack across the bottom of the tank
(complete from one side to the other) and a crack in one corner of one side
(poor job of storage!!!).....

What I was wondering is if its safe to repair the tank with aquarium cement?
That is, will the repairs hold once water is put in the tank?

Thanks!
