[Killietalk] Aphyosemion Bitaeniatum
Hello. Has anyone successfuly spawned Bitaeniatums in hard, alkaline water?
I have a pair of bitaeniatum Majitam that I want to set up for breeding,
but i'm wondering if I can use my regular water supply which has a ph of 8.2
and a kh of about 22 degrees. They are currently being conditioned
separately in this water, but I wonder if I can get fertile eggs when I
combine them. Also, are there any tips that might help me out? I am
planning to use a bare 5 gallon aquarium with a gentle sponge filter and top
and bottom mops. Does this sound like it will work?
Thanks!
Joel
