My city  water does not contain Chloramines. Apparrently, it is added to 
SURFACE water supplies and my city water originates in deep wells, thank goodness. 
Yes, chlorine is added, but easily controlled by aeration or adding only 
small amounts of water and I don't need Amquel or other neutralizing agents.
