I have been told the lake is very high in toxic stuff because it is at the
bottom of the Miss. I Have looked for fish there and saw no traces of any.
 When I lived in Boston there is a place called Castle Island in south
Boston that has a couple of Jetties where the water go in and out every tide
I used a 13 foot surf pole with a plankton net and had fair results. When I
finished getting the foods I would go by the New England Aquarium and get
some of the filtered sea water out of the tap on the side of the building.
I will be in Slidell in May for a week looking for a place to fish.
