I would worry about that approach. The chlorine won't dissipate rapidly until 
the chlorine is released from the chloramine covalent bond and vice versa for 
the ammonia. The only thing that will reduce the amount of chloramine will be 
when it is used up destroying cells in your fishes gills, etc.
