Ron,
My gardneri Misaje (or nigerianus Misaje, whatever you want to call them) are certainly not almost white.  They aren't as dark blue as the Misaje I lost last year, and I hope to eventually find some that are darker, as well as the gold form.  I know what you mean about internet pics though, they really don't do the gardneri strains justice.
