Hi all,

Here in ACT Australia we keep (at least three killie keepers) gardneri
Akure. Though with all gardneri locations in Australia I am a bit
cautious in assuming the location is 100% pure as here in Oz we go
through numerous bottlenecks over the years and I don't know how
successful the killie keepers in keeping location purity.

By the way if there has not been one in the last decade or so having a
special issue of JAKA having dedicated to gardneri strains with detailed
info on locations with as many photo references as possible on each
location would be a great asset I think both to rule *out* what you have
as a certain location even though you might have acquired as that, or to
encourage new keepers to pay more attention to gardneri location. I
would hate to have lost locations of gardneri from the hobby in 20 years
time.
