Re: [Killietalk] Gardneri sex ratios

With all of my gardneri speciesI have never noticed a abundance of males over females or vice versa except in the winter when my fish room tends to cool down a couple of degrees or so. Then I usually see more males than females and then sometimes there are more females than males. I can only assume that temperature is the factor which causes this since all other things are usually pretty constant year round.

Since the list is slow I thought I'd try to figure out what happening with
my Fp. gardneri. I've consistanly been getting 3 to 1 females to males in my
breeding tank. Is this a function of chance or is there an environmental
factor that might be causing this?
