Shipping this time of year is particularly "iffy."

Nothos seem more than ordinarily sensitive to some kinds of shipping shock. Even if they survive, they can go into the notorious "rapid decline" and I don't think we understand it very well. [I think Barry has one species that expires if you just say "shipping" in the fishroom. :^)]

Airport-to-airport in *thick* (2"+) styros with 24 hr heat packs (inside cardboard and outside styro) and outer cardboard boxes are the only way I know that works when the weather gets *this* cold (global warming striking again!).

The "War on Terror" may have rendered this approach obsolete, IDK. [Wonder if it will be as big a disaster as the "War on Drugs," aka the Govt. Drug-Price-Support Program.]
