Rosario laCorte mentioned in his talk at the
Convention that he had a bad experience using the hot
water from his hot water heater to blend with cold for
filling tanks. He suspected heavy metals from the
sacrificial corrosion rods in the tank. I have stopped
using the hot water for most of my tanks since i heard
that. i also drained the sludge from the bottom of the
hot water heater.
