Not too difficult, but some losses can occur. I drilled about 40 glass tanks 
and cracked five. Four could be repaired. Older metal frame tanks seem more 
prone to cracking. I also drilled a lot of plastic fry rearing shoe boxes. They 
are easier. I also created a tubing based siphon that works pretty well. I 
have put a lot of pictures on the members' gallery at www.aka.org
