Another question is Lee shows he uses some kind of foam to prevent the fry
from "going over the side." Is that foam sponge-like or is it rigid?
One more question: I noticed Lee stacks his fry boxes. How do you feed,
maintain etc. when the boxes are stacked? >>
Easier to see than explain, but I will try. The tubing to the drip emitters
goes though a hole in the lid in the back end. I made them big enough for the
emitter to go through, but I may change that to just tubing size the next time.
I'm not sure which way would be better. The foam is cut from the foam plugs
that Jehmco sells. The fry boxes can be slide out from the lid or the lid can
be slid out with it if the hole is big enough in the lid as mentioned above.
The maintenance is practically zero. The feeding is from the front through a hol
e that a dropper goes through with brine shrimp, Grindal worms or Walter worms
in a water slurry. If you are in the area come see them at our meeting here
Saturday. Details at www.keystonekilly.org
