Worked for two batches of eggs. Got about 24 fry (now sexing out) and
another dozen maybe from the second peat batch. I cannot say what percent
hatch this is since I never really counted eggs, but probably a high
percentage. The first peat was "loaded" by me from a mop. The second hatch
was from the peat remaining in the tank while the male was still alive, plus
a second wetting of the first batch of peat (after raising fry for 3 weeks
in it).. I got the fish in Canada on Sept 1st weekend.
