Has it ever happened where a body pattern has extended to all unpaired fins?
On the West African site
http://www.killifish.f9.co.uk/Killifish/Killifish%20Website/Index.htm
front page at this time I show a gardneri with an anal fin pattern similar
to the flanks, This fin seems to be the weakest fin regarding cracks in
genes perhaps allied with the pectorals which also seem vulnerable to
change.
Dorsal & caudal fins seem to resist change to this extreme.
Fp.gardneri easily change from yellow to blue phase & sometimes gold in
Nsukka & Misaje populations. An albino of the Akure population has also been
cracked.
The new P82 & German import population photos on this site should rekindle
an interest in these fish.
