In many small organisms , a cyst can be a sac of sorts containing viable
entities, but can also be a "protected" form of an offspring that can
withstand some bad conditions pending later development as in the case of
brine shrimp. Pretty sure one BS cyst= 1 BS offspring. .Too bad!
