[Killietalk] microscopes
Edd here in Colorado.
It's always a compromise between cost and quality.
I, again, recommend that you might want to check out the "Digiscope"
from Edmund Scientific. It looks like a toy and is actually marketed as
such. But for $149 the digital pics you can get of killie eggs are
fairly nice. You should see some in my article in the next JAKA.

Ronnie,
The scope you are using we call a stereo dissection scope, because it
has a substantial space from the lens to the tray/platform, which allows
for dissection to occur under magnification. You probably knew that,
but I just thought I'd mention it. Those are really nice... I used them
through college quite a bit.
Those Intel microscopes apparently are not very good. Essentially a
glorified web cam. Too bad though, as for a little higher price they
could have made a much better product. I am now looking at regular
microscopes, but don't have lots of money to spend on it... so we will
see what happens. Probably nothing.
As for shortening your URLs, there is no "trick around it" that I know
of. Just shorten the directory and page names, and that would do it.
Cheers,
Mark
