Because of my personnal situation, my fish went without feeding every other 
weekend for two years and since then every third or fourth.  I have kept F. 
deltaense since I got back into the hobby in 1996.  When they were fed every day 
they rarely lived longer than 8 months.  Now they are living nearly 18 months. 
 I have seen this effect in my other species as well.  I have A. poliaki that 
are just about three years old now.
