Re: [Killietalk] Rivulus cylindraceus

I would like to know if you have the same species as I do. Mine are
suppose to be from Cuba but both males and females have red color on all
their fins except the tail fin. The tails of the males are metalic blue.
Sincerely,
PJ

At the Indy Chili feed I took one of my cylindraceus pairs and took
some time to take some photos of several fish. Photos 105-0543 and
105-0548 are of one of my fish. I have 2 - 20's of these guys and
have had them for 6 + years. They came in with some collections about
the same time I got some wild Rivulus lyracotta (sp?) from Jim
Thomerson.

It was my understanding they were wild caught from Cuba, so these are
descendents of those fish. I have enjoyed them for their
personalities. They are as interested in their living space as
angels. These are nice fish not for just being Ugly Brown Fish but
for their personalities.

Charlie Grimes won the auction & took this pair home. He has some
ideas of his own about this fish.
