RE:  DKG Memberships

The primary reason one either does membership exchanges or sends "cash" to a
"responsible party" to convert currency and then pay for you is as pointed
out to avoid being killed by fees.  But if the DKG establishes a credit card
account they become a business in the eyes of German tax officials they are
subject to taxation and all business laws of the state.  Right now their
auction sort of just flies under the radar.  Posting of show results
subjects membership to "green attacks" and sending of fish through the mail
is forbidden (thankfully PETA hasn't been that successful over here).  And
you gripe about killie exchanges over here!!!
