I tried Oscars, but gave up.  After a year or so, they got lazy and would 
only eat pellets.

The smallmouth bass was better, but I think my apartment got too hot in the 
summer and he didn't make it.  Of course the drive to frederick every other 
week for goldfish was getting old too.
