PayPal, Visa, MC, et al have done wonders to improve small exchanges in
recent years. Unfortunately, economically-ignorant officials still think
there is a valid reason for tight currency controls, so not all
countries are equal.
This goes way back, as we used to have to exchange memberships in dog
clubs in the '60s. We could send them dollars, but Brits could not send
*any* money this way, pounds or dollars, as I vaguely remember.
I bought a nice lens from a German, a couple of years ago. We had to
wait until he travelled to the US to complete the transaction, so we
would not be raped by our banks.

I don't think DKG has that option yet. Or, maybe I can't read German well
enough to figure it out.
