[Killietalk] The Mop Shop

Hi,

The Mop Shop is back! I just received my new JAKA and was shocked to see
my all time favorite KILLIE NOTES feature back! Thanks Peter and Marshall.
When I was a kid in the AKA starting in 1969 Peter's The Mop Shop was the first
article I read in every monthly issue of the great old KILLIE NOTES. I must
admit that when I started reading the new JAKA I thought that maybe this Mop Shop
was a reprint of an old article as I didn't realize an old column was being
used as a lead in. I will now be looking forward even more to each new JAKA.
I also loved the kafuensis article as I love the Zambian Nothos too. (I
have sent a fair amount of symoensi around Bob.) I think people who have never
kept the Zambian Nothos are missing out on some of the finest and easiest to
breed killies in the hobby. I have found them to be great group spawners, less
aggressive than other Nothos and very fertile and hardy. Symoensi has to be
one of the great beauties. Bob, your article convinced me to begin to start
really focusing on this whole group. Who knows, maybe one day we will see the
almost Zambian species Nothobranchius polli -- my last dream species of killifish!

Bobby
