Usually what is at the bottom are unhatched or partially hatched eggs. Shells
float. You have two choices. Let everything settle for 10 min and siphon from
the center between the shells at the top and the flotsum at the bottom. There
are also available these cone hatchers that work like a sep funnel. With these
you wait 10 min and then open the valve ... the first thing that comes out is
the flotsum. With two containers you can then collect fairly pure napulli.
After I wash the napulli, I put the wash in a 50 ml conical tube and let it
settle another min. Then I take a small baster and pull the now very pure
shrimp from the middle, put these in a small squirt bottle and disperse to all
tanks.
Good Luck
