Re: [Killietalk] brine shrimp egg shells falling to the bottomwhen hatched

Would anyone know how to prevent brine shrimp egg shells from dropping to
the bottom of a container.
I hatch out everyday brine shrimp. Some egg shell float but some fall to
the bottom. When I harvest the shrimp, I have egg shells with them and it
become a nuisance. I still have a half can of shrimp eggs and I hate to
throw them out. I would appreciate knowing how not to have the egg shells
fall to the bottom, but to rise to the top.
    Sincerely,
Bro. Paul

This last collection of cysts has been particularly problematic to me as well. Good hatches though but there are lots of shells getting to my fry tanks.
I don't have a solution, I filter off the BBS and wash them and let shells separate. I am just dealing with cleaning the scum off the glass from the fry tanks a little more often.
