I really cannot believe this solution is real!  I have used sponge filters with
Nothos for years and visited the fish rooms of some of the top Notho breeders
in the world, all using sponge filters.  And they are bubbling at a fairly good
rate.  Not fast, but fast enough to make the filter work.

I usually don't post negative comments but I hate to see mis-information and old
wives tales perpetuated on the list for new people to see and digest.
