Ghris,

Thiosulfate works well to remove the Chlorine without the addition of the formaldehyde of AmQuel and other similar LFS products. Thiosulfate lowers the pH of the water while removing the Chlorine.

Aeration of typical municipal water supplies required weeks to reduce the Chlorine to a non lethal level.
