A standard Ranco temperature controller would probably do the trick.  Just like those infomercials for that crappy looking cooker, "just set it and forget it!"

I had an old dorm refrigerator that my son brought home from college and I 
thought of hooking it up to an appliance timer so that it would just kick on 
every few hour for a few minutes. I was thinking that this might be a cheaper 
way to keep the temps higher for white worms. Unfortunately, he took it back to 
school with him before I could try it. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
