Simple, Lee. 99% of all cases of "Mouth Fungus" are actually columnaris
bacteria. It just *looks* like cottonmouth fungus. While antibiotics
will sometimes work, they usually cause more problems than they cure,
and salt (or salt plus a little acriflavin) with several water changes
will work faster and better, IMHO.
It always has for me.
