Re: [Killietalk] Micro-fex

Hi Brian,
After about one month plus, the microfex worm culture seems to be
starting to increase. I started out with perhaps 3/4 ounce and now I would
estimate about 2 ounces. Not the
advertized reproductive rate but definately increasing. I think I perhaps
was keeping them too clean at first......changing water too often. Even at
this rate, if they keep increasing, I should be able to seriously start
feeding some in a few more weeks. They are a great fry/juv food. They swim
by wiggling vigoriusly and the killies attack them I think more killie
hobbiests should give these a try and report on successful cultural
techniques. They could be a great all year live food. I'm going to distribute
some locally to several friends
