No hard facts, Frank.

A new fence line was marked out well beyond the present one, and most of the materials for building it were there on the ground near the old parking lot. [You have to walk up from the main road, now, BTW.]

I have heard discussions of the vulnerability of the present setup to vandalism (certainly true). Public viewing is high on some managers' agendae but not on others.

Actually you cannot really see fish or habitat conditions from the current viewing area, most of the time. Fortunately, the F&WL biologists have always been generous with tours to a refuge, where they slide back the covers and let us see *Cypr. diabolis* "up close and personal."
