Re: [Killietalk] Classifieds

Hi Barry,
I know I am one of those majority but I've never been one to remain
silent. I'd like to thank the board, yourself, and anyone else that had a
hand in making this happen. I haven't been able to see the classified
section yet because I'm not an AKA member. Actually, I (twice) almost sent
my application in a while back but hesitated when this online listing issue
came up. At the time, it seemed to me that this organization was just not
forward thinking enough for me to waste any valuable time or money on it.
Also, I sensed a degree of politicization that I simply have no patience
for. Fortunately, at least on this issue, I was wrong. So....now maybe
the membership needs an update on how the couple of seemingly competent
professional progranmmer volunteers will be put to productive active use on
some of the other computer related issues of the AKA.
............................................................Ron
P.S. Just sent in my application for membership. Looking forward to using
the online classified and serving the AKA in some manner.
